- The Big Picture
My expertise lies in being able to communicate your offer in a way that speaks to your demographic, matches the brand tone, and ultimately converts on-lookers into paying customers.
I’m a Romani American Sr. Copywriter, Editor, Marketer, and Sales Professional with a background in business development, digital marketing, and investor funding/relations.
- My Background
I was born into an immigrant family in Connecticut and raised in New Jersey.
By 2011, I was cutting my teeth with journalism for Creative Spotlights in the gritty and grimy streets of NYC. I interviewed artists from Sony RED and wrote articles.
In 2012, my copywriting journey began when I became a copywriter for a Beverly-Hills-based digital agency. I worked with a myriad of high-profile clients across numerous diverse industries.
However, a problem arose! In crafting copy, my aim is precision, not reliance on luck. I needed a way to remove the guesswork in order to always know how to sell an offer and communicate it to the demographic.
- My Approach and What Makes Me Different
I embarked on an in-depth study of the brain with neuromarketing. After a few years of headaches, hopeless failures, and revisions to the formula, I FINALLY figured it out.
My studies led me to combine neuromarketing, sales psychology, and evolutionary psychology. I discovered there are three levels to the brain and you must speak to level one before you can speak to level three, the decision maker.
By strategically addressing the basal ganglia (level one of the brain) and disarming its defense mechanisms, we can remove the barriers that prevent customers from making a purchase.
This is where science meets marketing, hence my slogan.
Think of the film “Moneyball” meets the TV show “Mad Men.”
- Work History
After over a decade of working in a digital agency and then freelancing, I became the CEO of a startup accelerator where I'd help CEOs craft the perfect pitch to raise funds from investors for their venture - similar to Shark Tank.
We pitched the likes of the Tesla Foundation and my company had the privilege of serving the former CEO of True Religion and Gap.
This became possible because I learned the secret of how the brain prefers to receive information in order to make a decision.
- Summary:
By studying the science behind how our customers' brains work, it allowed me to understand:
- WHAT makes us buy things and WHY do we buy them
- How to turn my research into compelling and persuasive copy that converts
- How to speak to any type of demographic
- How to summarize any offer or service in a way that's enticing to the demographic
What were my results?
After over a decade, my copywriting, sales ability, and marketing strategy are responsible for $22M USD in client revenue, and counting!
